The provider of the Four Color Note application (the “App”) establishes this Privacy Policy to explain how user information is handled in connection with the App.

1. Information We Handle

The App may handle the following information:

  1. Note data entered by the user
    Note text, color, creation and modification dates, and other information entered or configured by the user in the App.
  2. Information collected in connection with advertising
    Advertising identifiers, device and operating system information, IP address, ad impressions and interactions, approximate location, and other information collected by advertising providers for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
  3. Contact information
    The email address, inquiry details, and other information supplied when contacting us.

2. Storage of Note Data

  1. Note data and App settings are stored on the user’s device.
  2. The provider does not view, collect, or transmit note data to its own servers.
  3. Depending on the device’s backup settings, data may be stored using Apple’s backup services. Apple’s terms and privacy policy apply to that storage.
  4. Data may be lost if the App is deleted, the device fails or is replaced, a backup fails, or for other reasons.

3. Purposes of Use

  1. To provide, maintain, and improve the App
  2. To deliver advertising, measure its effectiveness, and prevent misuse
  3. To investigate and address bugs, outages, and usage issues
  4. To respond to inquiries and provide necessary communications
  5. To comply with laws and this Privacy Policy

4. Advertising

  1. The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
  2. Google AdMob may collect device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, and ad interaction data for ad delivery, personalization, measurement, and fraud prevention.

  4. Advertising preferences may be changed through the device or Google ad settings.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

The provider will not disclose personal information to a third party without the user’s consent, except when required by law, when necessary to protect life, health, or property, or when information is sent to an external service described in this Privacy Policy.

6. Information Security

The provider takes reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure of information. However, complete security cannot be guaranteed.

7. User Controls

  1. Deleting the App may also delete App data stored on the device.
  2. Tracking permission and other privacy settings can be changed in the device settings.
  3. To request deletion of information supplied in an inquiry, contact us using Section 10.

8. Use by Minors

Minors should use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian when required.

9. Changes to This Policy

  1. The provider may revise this Privacy Policy when necessary due to changes in law, App functionality, or other circumstances.
  2. Material changes will be announced in the App or by another method the provider considers appropriate.
